This is my first post to this forum.

I just rewatched the episode Genesis (got the DVD boxset for Christmas) and was wondering, since the team was on Earth Prime,
why couldn't they fix/reset the timer so that they would be sure where they would be sliding to and would know how to get back to
Earth Prime ? I have just started watching sliders this year, very cool show. I am on season 5, this is where I think almost everyone would agree the show went for a turn for the worse. I have been on Sliders info sites to find out why so many changes in the show. Please let me know if what I found out is true.

Fox wanted more control of the show and changed the premise of the story.

I used to post on a Sliders message board on SciFi.com, years ago, like in 2000 or 2001.

My handle there was livelipschitz. At some point, I made it LiveLipschitz2001, and at some point I think even LL2K.
